New unique boutique now open to the public

The Simply Rustique Boutique, owned and operated by Diane Kattine, opened at its new location in Georgetown, in the building formerly known as the Suds N’s Suds Laundry Mat on July 15, 2017.
Kattine had been operating the business prior to opening a store front, out of her home in Russellville and online, after deciding to open a store front and being given the opportunity to do so from her husband’s grand mother who owns the property, her husband Jordan Kattine, brother Brian Watson and family immediately began renovations.
The business offers new, upscale boutique style clothing that ranges from vintage to modern for women of all sizes and girls clothing. Kattine hopes to expand into men’s clothing in the near future.
Simply Rustique also carries farm house style home decor, gifts for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, shoes, accessories and a line of drink ware.
Kattine is helped in the shop by family including her sister in law, Monika Watson.
Kattine opened this particular business because she said, “At the time that I started online and in my home last winter, I saw a need for a more local option for women to purchase clothing for events such as weddings, parties, showers or just everyday wear without having to drive down the road or order online without being able to try on the clothing, as it grew, I decided Georgetown was the ideal location because I wanted to bring back some local business and my location was available on a main road in town with plenty of parking and good visibility to customers.”
Kattine also elaborated that, “I love when customers come in and they are in a hurry and need to pick up a quick gift or need an outfit for an event and I have something for them and they recognize the convenience of having a local shopping resource! I truly enjoy bringing in up to date fashions for women and girls to purchase without having to go far from home.
“Currently the shop is open Friday through Sunday and hours can be found on the store front or online on our Facebook page,” Kattine states, “we also have a website to view new products or purchase online at if you cannot make it into the store but see something you like. The store is located at 690 E. State Street in Georgetown, across from the new NAPA Auto Parts Store.
“There will be a Grand Opening on August 12, 2017 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. where there will be door prizes, sales on merchandise, refreshments, a drawing for a basket filled with other local businesses gift certificates and a free surprise gift for the first 50 purchases!”
