Crowds of people lined the streets for the annual Mt. Orab Christmas Parade on Nov. 25.

The Mt. Orab Christmas Committee voted unanimously this year for Paul Roades to be the 2023 Mt. Orab Christmas Parade grand marshal. Roades has been a barber in the village for more than 60 years and has countless years of devotion to the Mt. Orab community.

There were more than 70 entries from those taking part in the parade, one of the most popular holiday events held in Brown County each year.

The parade ended with the arrival of Santa, shouting “merry Christmas” and waving as he passed by the hundreds who came out to witness this year’s parade.
