Johnathon Turner has been sentenced to multiple terms of life in prison for rape.

He was sentenced on April 30 following a trial earlier last month where he was convicted of four counts of rape, three counts of Gross Sexual Imposition and one count of Felonious Assault. All of the charges relate to one victim under ten years old.

Common Pleas Judge Scott Gusweiler sentenced Turner to two terms of life in prison without parole that run consecutively to each other, two terms of life in prison with parole eligibility after 25 years that run consecutively to each other and to the first two life sentences.

Following the four consecutive life sentences, Turner will also serve three years on the gross sexual imposition charges and then four more years on the felonious assault charge.

Turner is 37 years old. His trial lasted four days from April 8 until April 11. He was indicted in January of 2018 on all of the counts that the jury found him guilty of 15 months later. He had been in the Brown County Jail since his arrest following the indictment.
