In 1982 Ron’s DJ Service was a well known term when it came to hosting weddings, parties and entertaining at friends and family events.
But life has a way of bringing changes to people’s lives and those changes came to Ron Vandermolen of Mt. Orab.
He and his wife Rhonda have revived “Ron’s DJ Service” LLC as of Sept. 8, this year and are anxious to get back to what he and his wife love, and that is music.
“I’ve lived here in Mt. Orab for the past 20 years,” Vandermolen said, “I started out in the music field many years ago when I was a church musician for over seven years. I played the piano at a couple different churches. I’ve loved music my whole life.
“But eventually, with a growing family, I had to get that real job, like everyone does and I gave up my music for a while.”
Vandermolen worked at Milacron and for the University of Cincinnati. And although he liked his jobs, he always wanted to return to the music field.
“Well, it’s been about a month now,” he said, “I made the decision to get back into the DJ field. I have purchased some of the best equipment available, ‘Peavey Equipment’ and I’m anxious to get back out there.
“This is the top of the line equipment and I can serve 50 to 5,000 people. I have the very best music available for weddings, to choose from. I especially enjoy playing for reunions, holiday parties, car shows…you name it, I have what it takes to entertain a crowd.”
Vandermolen brings with him, 10 years of disc jockey experience to Ron’s DJ Service, and is ready and prepared to get back at it.
