Some streets in Ripley were shut down last week for the filming of the upcoming movie The Bikeriders written and directed by Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter, 2011; Mud, 2012; and Loving, 2016).
The Bikeriders stars a cast that includes Tom Hardy, Jodie Cromer, Austin Butler, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, Mike Faist, and Norman Reedus.
The film tells the fictional story inspired by Danny Lyon’s 1968 photo-book.
Film crews were set up at Ripley Coin Laundry and Car Wash located at the corner of North Second Street and Market Street in Ripley on Tuesday morning.
