ELIZABETHTOWN — Over the past several months, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit has received information regarding multiple individuals selling and delivering illegal controlled substances in the 1600 block of NC Hwy 11, Kelly NC. During the investigation, undercover purchases of illegal controlled substances were made by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit.
On Aug. 25 the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit, Community Impact Team, Criminal Investigation Division and Patrol Division executed a search warrant at 1622 NC Hwy 11, Kelly.
At the time of the search warrant execution, multiple individuals were present. Cocaine, marijuana, suboxone, weapons and U.S. currency were seized.
At the conclusion of this investigation, Eddie Hayes, of Kelly was arrested and charged with the following offenses: Two counts of Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substances, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule III controlled substances, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substances, two counts of Possession of schedule II controlled substances, Possession of schedule III controlled substances, Possession of schedule VI controlled substances, Manufacture schedule II controlled substances, two counts of Maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for the purpose of keeping/selling controlled substances, Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and Possession of a stolen firearm.
Hayes was held in the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under a $425,000 secured bond.
Megan Michelle McGirt, of Kelly was arrested and charged with the following offenses: Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substances, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule III controlled substances, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substances, Possession of schedule II controlled substances, Possession of schedule III controlled substances, Possession of schedule VI controlled substances, Maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for the purpose of keeping/selling controlled substances, and Possession of a stolen firearm.
McGirt was held in the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under a $60,000 secured bond.
Belinda Marie Waddell, of Bolton was arrested and charged with the following offenses: Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substances, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule III controlled substances, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substances, Possession of schedule II controlled substances, Possession of schedule III controlled substances, Possession of schedule VI controlled substances, Maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for the purpose of keeping/selling controlled substances, and Possession of a stolen firearm.
Waddell was held in the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under a $ 60,000.00 secured bond.
Wanda Leverne Delaine, of Bolton was arrested and charged with the following offenses: Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substances, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule III controlled substances, Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substances, Possession of schedule II controlled substances, Possession of schedule III controlled substances, Possession of schedule VI controlled substances, Maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for the purpose of keeping/selling controlled substances, and Possession of a stolen firearm.
Delaine was held in the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under a $11,000.00 secured bond.
