Two people have been arrested in Mt. Orab for allegedly dealing marijuana to a number of teenagers.

Amy Schaller, 31 and Ronald Woodley, Jr., 23 are both from Mt. Orab and live within 1000 feet of the Western Brown school complex.

They are both charged with selling marijuana to six underage individuals and purchasing marijuana from a seventh.

Each faces a total of 15 felony counts, including one count of Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity, seven counts of Corrupting Another With Drugs and seven counts of Trafficking in Marijuana.

Schaller is in custody at the Brown County Jail and Woodley remained at large at press time.

“When we see folks that are living near the schools that are selling and supplying juveniles with drugs, it’s taken very seriously,” said Brown County Prosecuting Attorney Zac Corbin. “We were able to identify at least seven juveniles that were involved in this circle of drug trafficking with these two defendants.”

Corbin also thanked the arresting officers in the case.

“This was a case that was investigated by the Mt. Orab Police Department, primarily between Patrolman McKenzie and Patrolman Gregory. They spent a considerable amount of time on this case and did a good job of investigating,” he said.

“The way they became aware of this case was through their investigation of some other drug cases. They got good information that these folks were selling marijuana and they were able to take them into custody and find evidence of drug trafficking.”
