Students spend time with farm animals
Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington FFA had the great privilege to help RULH Elementary School with Incredible Kid Day on March 21.
RULH FFA students provided several agricultural activities, since it was also National Ag Week.
The day included tractor races, a petting zoo, and pieces of farm equipment on display.
RULH FFA expressed its appreciation to everyone who brought animals or equipment to help make this day special for elementary students.
A great time was had by both elementary and high school students.
“In years past we’ve had a petting zoo, so a few of our students and myself have brought some animals for the students for Incredible Kid Day,” said local agricultural educator and farmer, Justin Cluxton.
RULH FFA also thanked Ag-Pro for the discounted price on two pedal tractors, Bane-Welker Equipment for the donation of a pedal tractor, and Baxla Tractor Sales in Seaman for loaning a pedal tractor on Incredible Kid Day.
