Larry David Miller, age 70, of Sardinia, Ohio died Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Mt. Orab Medical Center in Mt. Orab, Ohio. He was retired from American Showa in Blanchester, Ohio, a United States Army veteran and enjoyed watching football, game shows and spending time with his grandchildren. Larry was born July 26, 1953 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late David Ray and Mary Catherine (Spornhauer) Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of eight years – Shirley (Sutton) Miller whom he married August 1, 2015; two children – Mandy Miller and fiancé David Hancock of Sardinia, Ohio and Christopher Miller and wife Heather of Hillsboro, Ohio; four step-children – Jimmy Tackett and wife Sim of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Adam Tackett of Grayson, Kentucky, Sarah Tackett of Grayson, Kentucky, Jeremey Tackett and wife Celina of Wright City, Missouri and Josh Tackett of Grayson, Kentucky; four grandchildren – Dakota Turner and fiancé Levi Unger of Higginsport, Ohio, Gary Turner of Sardinia, Ohio, Grant Turner of Lebanon, Tennessee and Krishelle Miller of Hillsboro, Ohio; seven step- grandchildren – Jackson Tackett of Olive Hill, Kentucky; Noah, Isaac and Eden Tackett all of Greenup County, Kentucky and Sophia, Tyrion and Abigail Tackett all of Grayson, Kentucky; one great grandchild – Delilah Unger; two brothers – Thomas E. Miller and wife Kristie and Kenneth R. Miller both of Sardinia, Ohio; one sister – Marcia L. Ernst of Sardinia, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Riffe Cemetery in Grayson, Kentucky.
